Easy To MakeThank You Card and Bonus Scotch Tape Giveaway!

Thanks to Scotch(R) Double Sided Tape for sponsoring my writing about crafts!

Add your comment below to be entered for a chance to win free sample rolls to help with your upcoming holiday needs!

I'm a scrapbooker. I love the art of taking pieces of paper and my favorite pictures and turning them into pieces of art. I also love card making and prefer to make a card over buy one any day! I always use Scotch brand products for my scrapbooking and card making adhesives (and I'm not just saying that because they are sponsoring this post, I swear!)

With Thanksgiving come and gone and plenty of people to thank for a wonderful meal, I thought it would be fun to show you a quick and easy Thank You card that even a beginner can make. In fact, this card can be easily made by the kids too! You can change the colors and words as well very easily to make it appropriate for any occasion. A friend of mine made a thank you card like this for me a long time ago and ever since I use it as my go to template for a quick card.

So here is the end result:

Here are the directions typed right on the pictures below for easy follow along instructions!

Easy right?!

Now for some fun! Leave a comment to be entered to win a roll of Scotch Double Sided Tape from 3M!  Simply tell me what your family uses tape for the most (and include your email address please!).  You can enter once a day until December 3rd when I will select TEN WINNERS!!

It will only take a second to enter and you'll be ready for gift wrapping! I'm really saving you about $50 here because you will inevitably be wrapping gifts and run out of tape. You will run to the store. You will leave with about $50 worth of stuff that you probably don't need and you may even forget the tape!  So just enter to win some here and we both win! :)

Please learn more about Scotch(R) Double Sided Tape and other Scotch(R) Products, and join the conversation on the Scotch(R) Brand Facebook Page and via Twitter. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

  1. What a great idea Tasha! I usually end up buying the pre-made cards and I am usually not thrilled with the cheesy saying on the inside! I just bought some new stamps the other day and have been dying to try them out! Looks like momma will be busy tonight! I like the different textures too - looks like a 10 dollar card! Great post as usual, keep them coming!!

  4. Thanks Tasha!

I was going to buy a card for my friend's mom. She has been helping me get into crafting: lending me her supplies and insight. I bought her a giftcard to our local craft store and I was going to buy a card and tuck it in. I guess I should make one, since I AM a crafter now!

  5. Perfect timing, my daughter just used the rest of my tape. I use double sided tape for lots of things. PS the card is cute, great idea.

  6. My kids waste tape like nothing I've ever seen. Give them a roll and it's gone in a flash, so that's probably where most of my tape goes.

I love to use double-sided for all of my craft projects. Thanks for the great idea!

  8. Very pretty card! Love making homemade cards but I always feel guilty when I throw them in recycling.

  9. I need to win this tape giveaway for one simple reason. My almost 4year old just discovered tape. In his mind tape fixes everything. He has a doll that needs sewn back together in the worst way, but will he let me patch it up? Nope. We had to do surgery with tape. You should see this thing. So, in addition to those Christmas gifts I will be wrapping, I need to win tape so I don't have to dip into the college savings plan to pay for it.

  10. Cute card!

My 6-year-old thinks tape fixes EVERYTHING. Every time I go to wrap a present I realize we are out.

  16. I use scotch tape the most for stenciling. I can apply the double sided tape to the back side of the stencil and like the finer parts so they don't like when i paint, as well as scotch's painters tape for the outer edges so it doesn't lift anything else from the painting as a whole. I actually usually carry scotch tape in my purse at all times, cause you never know when you're going to need tape- my friends laugh when the need arises and i'm prepared. ha ha.

  18. What a great idea! I was trying to think of something creative to do for my son's birthday party Thank You cards - we could make our own!

The tape would help so much with that.
    Thanks!

  20. Because I can not read properly, I'm leaving a second comment (an deleted my first).
First, I love this card! It's gorgeous =)
Second, our tape mostly gets used for crafty projects by the kids. They can easily use a roll of tape a day! LOL!

  21. Awesome giveaway! I seem to use a lot of tape when I'm wrapping packages - either to pop into the mailbox, or tuck under the tree! Thank you for the giveaway!

  23. I love scotch double-sided tape! I typically use tape for crafts. Anything that needs to be fixed is usually done with super glue unless tape will work.
