Once in a while I am paid to write here on my blog. (I KNOW!) The opinions on my blog are always my own, paid or not.  I do sometimes mention products and companies just because I love them and receive no payment in return.  If I was paid, rest assured, I will tell you so!

Last, but not least, my food disclosure statement.  If you know me at all, you know my love for chocolate.  OK, for desserts in general.  Alright, alright, I’m a junk food junkie at heart.  I’d eat Snickers, Doritos and Dr. Pepper all day if I could get away with it.  But I can’t.  Because I’d live a slow painful (albeit yummy) death from diabetes or heart problems or general fatness.  I have learned to manage my eating habits and only make the junk food a every once in awhile treat instead of a daily occurrence.  So I will post desserts, comfort foods and maybe even a recipe using a box with ingredients that you can’t read once in awhile.  Enjoy them, but remember, it’s all about balance.  As Chase told me the other day when we had a donut, “I guess when we get home we’ll have to eat a lot of vegetables!”
