First Floor Bathroom Renovation...Before & After!

The bathroom on the first floor of our home was the first room to be fully done. After working for two months without any bathroom here at all, it was a very exciting day to see it all put together!

The bathroom before was just plain nasty. The house sat empty for a few years so the rust and grime on the shower were so thick. I was worried it wouldn't come clean. But with a little bit of magic, it turned out amazingly! I will post the details on how I got it clean soon.

We basically pulled everything out (besides the shower) and started from scratch.

Here is the bathroom before:

Here is during:

And here is after!

And a couple more after:

We painted the walls, put in a new tile floor, a new vanity, and all new fixtures. Here is the run down of where I got everything:

Shower curtain, rug, towels and bronze fixtures (toilet paper bar, towel ring, extra toilet paper holder, q-tip container and trash can): Better Homes & Gardens by Walmart

Marazzi Montagna Soratta Porcelain Floor Tiles, St. Paul Valencia Vanity at Home Depot

Bronze and glass shelves from Bed Bath & Beyond

Decorative towel rack from Kohl's

And there it is! What do you think?

  1. Ooh, very nice! I love your decorating style. :D

  2. Looks great! I am going to visit some day and see this gorgeous house!

  3. BEAUTIFUL! Nice work, TASHA! I LOVE the floor!

Every single comment is like a little present I anticipate as I unwrap it. Thanks for making my day!
